Three cybersecurity stories this week. It's all peaches and sunshine as each story have up and up trajectories in terms of growth and business outlook. Each story has its own unique revelations, as well. For example, the recent CrowdStrike incident which paralysed a good part of the globe, isn't a security incident but an operations miscalculation. "The best practice is you don't just roll the signatures out to everybody all at once. You roll out to test regions, or selected customers instead," Securonix 's Scott Sampson had said. So it seems these days, that behaviors have become more risky than before, because so much more consequence is tied to each action. The price of digitalization and connectivity, perhaps?
