🌟 Even protectors need protecting. If you’re always the one looking out for others, here’s your reminder: self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential. Here are a few small steps to try: 1️⃣ Set boundaries. Start by saying “no” when you’re stretched too thin. You can’t pour from an empty cup. 2️⃣ Ask for help. You don’t need to do everything alone. Trust others to step up—it doesn’t make you any less reliable. 3️⃣ Prioritise yourself. Whether it’s a hobby, some quiet time, or just resting, give yourself permission to recharge without guilt. Being a protector doesn’t mean giving everything at your own expense. It’s about leading by example—showing that it’s possible to care for others while still caring for yourself.

Those are solid reminders. Self-care truly is a game-changer for protectors.

Such sensible advice Cate! You really can’t pour from an empty cup.
