Spanish and English Editorial & Copywriting Specialist | Communications & Marketing Assistant | Crafting Content that Engages and Converts

Hello Network! I’d like to share some experiences I’ve had recently during recruitment processes: ➡ No Follow-Up After Completing the Process I received an email inviting me to a quick interview, followed by a 2-hour test, and then a second interview with two managers. Unfortunately, I never received any feedback or updates about the outcome. ➡ Delayed Responses and Communication Issues I scheduled an interview for a specific date and time, but the call came half an hour late. The link to complete the test was incorrect, so I immediately replied requesting the correct one. However, I didn’t receive a response until two days later. After completing the test, I received an email the next day stating the position had been closed. Strangely, a few days later, I received another email from the recruiter asking if I had completed the test. ➡ Unclear Data Handling and Requests For another position, I was asked to create and submit an introductory video to move forward in the process. While I understand the value of such steps, I suggested scheduling a video call instead, as I had concerns about where and how this recorded information would be stored. ➡ Poor User Experience in Job Applications One recurring frustration: being asked to upload my CV only to manually fill out the same information again. A small detail, but one that reflects poorly on the candidate experience. 😲 I understand we’re nearing the end of the year, and many of us may feel a little drained. 😓 However, let’s strive to avoid ghosting candidates who are genuinely seeking opportunities. A little courtesy and clarity go a long way in creating a respectful recruitment process. On that note, I’m actively looking for a new role where I can bring value and grow professionally. 😊 If you know of any opportunities or companies looking for motivated talent, I’d love to connect! #opentowork #ireland #remoto #hybrid #copywriter #contentspecialist #communicationsofficer #marketingassistant #editor
