It’s early days, but really excited about this new Full Fact project… We’re preparing to launch a new tracker to measure the government’s progress delivering its pledges, starting with what it set out in its manifesto. (Our preliminary work found it included almost 300 pledges which might be trackable, though that doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll be able to follow them all.) Right now we’re scoping out what we can track, what we have resource to track and how to present the info. More to follow…

It seems to me that these principles, by themselves, not going to change anything. All of the principles use 'should' instead of 'shall' and are non-binding. What is more impactful is the power of the purse and active development, which the feds are certainly doing (and is also detailed here) - credit purchases, innovation incentives, standards development and knowledge sharing.
