Very challenging but one of the most rewarding after achieving total resection and optic nerves decompression. This 33 y o lady was referred to us, she presented a visual loss with visual field defect. A new study published this month enhances our understanding of language-related functional anatomy and demonstrates that non-invasive mapping-based network analysis stands on par with invasive cortical mapping in identifying the language network. There were no discernible differences in network centralities between the DCS and nTMS mapping. Furthermore, nTMS outperformed DCS in tracing ventral stream tracts, highlighting it’s strength in delineating language-related networks.
