Had one of the best days filming and getting content out for my funnels and ads with Tom Knight Two major lessons I’ve learnt - when the perfectionism strikes (it shows up more when your spending money on something BTW!) but aiming for a B- instead of a triple A* will get you your result far quicker! Here is why - It will feel easier to get something out there and take action rather than wait for the A* situation to happen. If it happens at all! The second thing is even if the end result isn’t fully achieved you will learn so much by taking the actions and doing and thinking differently. You wil be 10 steps further on than taking no action and waiting for things to be perfect or get all of the information. That waiting and thinking time has a financial and emotional cost too! So do the thing that your holding back on, try your very best with the B- approach instead of always aiming for perfection A* status, you will learn so much more and quicker on the journey and of aiming for your goal! I spent a long time doing nothing about my business because I wanted everything to be 'perfect' 🫣 It was only when I took a step back that I really thought about about it. What is perfect anyway? It's not something that can be measured - you can't put a number on it, it's not something you pay for, it's not even something you can really describe. It's something you know you'll have achieved 'when you see it' 👀 I had to burst my own bubble and realise that will never happen. There will always be something to change. I struggled with this for so long. It's like when you stare at a picture of yourself for too long and you start to think you look weird. You start second-guessing if that's even how you look. I had to not only accept but also internalise that perfection can't get in the way of done. Don't be perfect if it means your 'thing' will never see the light of day. Click 'post' or 'publish' or 'send' with your eyes closed if you have to. Dear Business Owners I know you have a lot of prospective clients on your list. But it's important you know the awareness level of your prospects so you know how to relay the good news of your offer to them. There are 4 different awareness levels of your prospective client. 📍The first level is what I term the "Unaware Stage". Here, your prospect is experiencing an issue but does not know what the problem is. For instance, a person is always experiencing dizziness, weakness, seizures, and blurry vision. He knows there is something wrong but he does not know what the problem is. 📍The second level is the "Aware-unaware Stage". Your prospect knows he has a problem but does not know the solution to his problem. For instance, after experiencing dizziness, seizures, and the rest, your prospect knows he has low blood pressure but does not know the solution to that. 📍The third level is the "Awareness Stage". Your prospect knows there are a lot of solutions out there but does not know what solution to go for. 📍Then, there is what I term the "Awareness-unsolved level." Your prospect here has a problem and has tried so many solutions out there but has not been able to solve his problem. He is probably tired and frustrated with every brand saying its product can solve his problem and is looking for a genuine solution to his problem. The way you construct your message for these different prospects at different levels differs. Telling a prospect who does not even know what the problem is that... "I know you've tried a lot of products out there to get rid of that low blood pressure..." Will probably make that prospect skip your ad because he doesn't even know he has low blood pressure to start with. So, that's it. Did you find this piece valuable?
