Many brands that rely on TikTok Shop will be scrambling. I feel for you! This will make or break so many businesses. ❤️ It's more important than ever to start diversifying your channels to weather the storm. If the ban doesn't happen? Consider this a wake-up call to build a more resilient sales strategy. Here's what I would start doing RIGHT NOW, no matter if this ban goes into place: 1️⃣ Explore "old school" channels that are new again → Independent retail is having a moment (trust me here) → Foodservice is an untapped goldmine for many CPG brands → Creative licensing deals can open unexpected doors 2️⃣ Double down on existing marketplaces → Optimize your Amazon presence (yes, time to spend) → Level up your Instagram Shopping game → Test Google Shopping → Walmart's marketplace? They're investing time into new brands. → Guys, how many times do I have to say it? FAIRE. 3️⃣ Get creative with alternative revenue streams → Build out affiliate partnerships → Explore product customization → Consider white labeling opportunities! It's not about choosing between TikTok Shop OR Amazon OR traditional retail anymore. It's about creating a sales ecosystem that can withstand any platform's ups and downs.
