Friends and family joke that I was born with a headset on, ready to assist! Whether it's resolving issues or celebrating small victories with customers, I find immense joy and purpose in these interactions. It’s not just about solving problems; it’s about making someone’s day better. 💼 Fulfilling a Purpose Taking on a Customer Success role would be more than a career move – it’s fulfilling a purpose within me. It's about waking up every day knowing I’m making a difference. It's seeing a customer smile (even if it's over the phone) and knowing I had a hand in that. My career had a boost when I moved into a Customer Success role in the year 2018. It was not easy getting that job. When I started working with the customers I realised that there were many things from my previous experience which I could apply here. The customer expectations remain the same irrespective of the industry you work in. I had prepared well on this aspect when I was giving interviews for the CSM roles. I was very clear how I can incorporate the learnings from my previous jobs in the CSM role. Some accepted that and many rejected that notion. But I learned from each and every interaction. That’s what I tell anyone looking for advice on how to move into a Customer Success role. Keep creating chances for yourselves. Sooner or later you will be accepted by people who believe in your thought process and vision. #customersuccess #career #interviews
