Saw this flier today and was quite pleased. Now this is what we're talking about! Taking advantage of your comparative advantage, where your competitors wouldn't even dare. This saves passengers the stress of claiming their bags from the local airport, coming out and taking another taxi to the international wing, then checking in afresh. Passengers would have been checked in to their final destination and wouldn't need to claim bags or anything of such. With all of those eliminated, Airpeace has ticked a box. However, it gets tricky from here. Delays on local flights can affect international passengers connecting their flights, and having to wait an extra day, hopefully there would be a flight out next day, and it won't be fully booked. The cost of checking them in a hotel, feeding and others, may be another burden that the airline wouldn't want to bear. Even with an arrangement to check customers who miss their flights in hotels, service breakdown kicks off from here, leading to agitated and dissatisfaction. As we all know, satisfied customers lead to customer lifetime value that engenders sustainability of the business, and a satisfied customer tells 5 others, while a dissatisfied one tells at least 10 others. Let's hope more appealing service offerings are introduced to the service, that will checkmate the competition. Something like shuttle service from local to international airport with some on their business every hour from 4 hours before departure, to ease the transit process and others.
