When I first started Jefferson Maxey Consulting, there were so many business owners who poured into me and gave freely of their time, wisdom, and experience. I've counseled folks who were thinking of starting a "competing" business in the fractional risk management space. Watching their businesses grow and seeing them succeed is awesome. We hear the term "abundance mindset" but I wonder how far we're willing to take that. I've never helped another human and regretted doing so. Case in point, this week we leaned into our values of courage and honesty, and ended a contract with a client early.    “Making the decision to end a contract early is never taken lightly.
