Car Dealership Guy’s Post

Cold hard truth: If not for local franchisees, some of these automakers would have disappeared long ago. Having a distribution network deeply embedded in local communities is one hell of a shock absorber.

Maybe peel away another layer of the onion and give the credit where it’s truly due, to the sales people and sales mgrs who feature/benefit, close and deliver out in spite of uncompetitive brands, models and incentives year after year. The economy continues to roll in spite of all its challenges because somebody somewhere is ALWAYS selling something:)

Truth! Could you imagine if some of these OEM's had only direct to consumer distribution? Their competition would eat them alive. Here's to Dealerships, the last Castles.

Richard Lucas Chevrolet is going to celebrate 100 years in 2025. Our community ties do run very deep! Was actually in the small town parade this evening! I completely agree.
