Portugal. It's not everyone's first thought when it comes to world class diving, but it may just surprise you. What makes the diving in Portugal so special, is a combination of its uniqueness and the diversity with which you can take your diving. All within less than one hundred miles, you can dive recreationally, you can dive wrecks, you can dive technically, you can dive caves, or you can dive dams and reservoirs. Not only that, but the latitudes that you can dive are also incredibly unique. There are very few places in the world where you can dive to cold World War II wrecks and do tropical reef dives, all with the same country. Or take a trip more southward and explore Madeira or the Azores. Life flourishes everywhere, and there is no better place to check it all out than in beautiful Portugal. The #Netherlands, a country full of dykes and dams, is not necessarily the traditional dive destination. However, the Netherlands offers some of the best diving locations in Europe with three great diving regions, in Zeeland, the North Sea, and Utrecht. It is a unique diving location that offers the ability to dive in lakes, rivers, and seas. And because of the dikes that the Dutch are famous for, the waters are protected from the natural, harsh movement of the sea and offer a one-of-a-kind diving experience. https://go.divessi.com/mdg 📸 : iStock-Ivankish #wearessi #mydiveguide
