Setting the tone as a leader. Clip 10 of 10 in Episode 5 of "The R&D Podcast🎙️" with my colleague, Devin Stanley. Episode 6 will drop next week with another 10-15 clips on building companies and careers in the #medtech arena. In this clip we discuss how to set culture at a company and make sure people on the team can weigh-in so they will buy-in. It's how we work with our clients and individuals at The Mullings Group. How is TMG different? Through collaboration with your team we can help develop your “hiring brand.“ We also offer advisory, media, and marketing. Talent access is different than recruiting. We give people who are "NOT LOOKING" access to your company. We allow our clients to share their subject matter expertise with the market through our media and marketing machine, Dragonfly - A TMG Company. Then suddenly those not initially interested in making a move, want to speak with companies we have the privilege of building. Leadership starts at the top and encourages that everyone has a voice. When we all work together, every piece of the organization can soar.

Like Mark Herschberg, I believe cultural differences play a crucial role in today’s professional life—so much so that they can drive top performers away from working with you. In my video production agency Beverly Production, I don’t burden people with one-on-one check-ins, growth plans, or team meetings as long as they’re delivering results. Having experienced the corporate world, I’ve often seen such procedures imposed by managers with little else to contribute. Instead, your focus should be on inspiring your team and, of course, placing great emphasis on hiring the right people. The link to the full podcast is in the Comments section.

If you missed yesterday's clip from Miller Resource Group, that was a huge topic of conversation on a recent recording that myself and Travis Miller discussed in detail on their HIRED! The Podcast. During the interview, we talked extensively on hot topics such as the "parent shift" in manufacturing and the traditional point system. I was honored to be a guest featured on this show and it was really cool to have a one on one with another recruiter discussing some of the elephants in the room when it comes to how we work in manufacturing, recruiting, retention and most of all- 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒆 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆. Here are some of the key themes so far: 👉 Culture is everything A strong, intentional culture is the foundation of success. Ian Millner and Jane Slimming explained how embedding values into day-to-day operations creates motivated, aligned teams. 👉 Lead with emotional intelligence Leaders like Zsuzsanna Recsey and Vanella Jackson highlighted the power of truly understanding your people. Emotional intelligence is essential for success. 👉 Flexibility empowers Remote work demands a different leadership style. Tim Cameron-Kitchen emphasised that trust and flexibility are key to empowering high-performing teams from afar. 👉 Never stop growing High performance is more than hitting targets - it’s about fostering continuous learning. Chris Ailey and Danny Bluestone are all about creating cultures where personal growth is non-negotiable. 👉 Purpose drives excellence A clear mission fuels engagement and performance. Leadership shapes culture, not perks. 🍕 Ping pong tables and pizza parties are fun, but they don’t build lasting success. Strong leadership creates purpose, values, and accountability that define a thriving culture. Focus on clear vision and empowering your team—that’s what drives real results. #LeadershipMatters #CompanyCulture #LeadByExample Thanks for providing the amazing questions in this interview Boss Juice Podcast
