📣 CapeBPO Chief Skills Officer announcement from our CEO Clayton Williams 📣 It gives me great pleasure to announce that after completing a broad recruitment process, Shaheed Hendricks has been promoted to the role of Chief Skills Officer, effective 1 December, reporting directly to myself. Shaheed is somewhat of an industry veteran, having started his career as an Advisor 20 years ago. Having worked his way through the proverbial ranks, Shaheed has performed many roles within Operations and the Learning and Development space and has held various leadership positions in internationally-facing organisations such as Merchants, Serco, Webhelp (now Concentrix) and WNS and has been at CapeBPO since 2019. In his most recent role as Head of Operations, Shaheed was responsible for the operational delivery of all of CapeBPO initiatives, most especially within the skills remit, and his promotion to the role of Chief Skills Officer is a testament to his hard work, excellent performance and technical growth and development. Whilst I will work closely with Shaheed on the strategic evolution of our sector skills strategy, he will ultimately be responsible for the delivery and execution of the aforementioned strategy together with our public and private sector partners.
