Last night, the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity held its annual year end celebration event, during which time we honored Dr. Rongxing Lu for his contributions to the Institute as we bid him a heartfelt farewell. Dr. Lu is a world-class researcher and was Acting Director of CIC this last year. He will be leaving the University of New Brunswick and the Institute to join Queen’s University as a full professor. His leadership, dedication to teaching, and research excellence have profoundly impacted everyone who had the good fortune to study and/or work with him. While we will miss him greatly, we look forward to continued collaborations and his involvement in future Privacy Security and Trust conferences. Queen’s is lucky to have him and we wish him all the best in this exciting new chapter! Ali A. Ghorbani #ThankYou #Cybersecurity #CIC
