❄️ Winter is coming! For many farmers and land managers, cold weather and short days are a telltale sign to park their tractors for the season. The winter storage preparation guide helps MK-V owners prepare their tractor so that come spring, their MK-V is ready to go with minimum preparation. 👉 10 Tips to Prepare your MK-V Tractor for Winter Storage: 1) Make sure your tractor is charged to 80% and if it is charging, disconnect the charger. 2) Access the 12V battery under the tool tray. Switch the 12V battery off then remove the ground cable from the battery. 3) Clean the radiator covers to remove any debris. 4) Wash the tractor with soap and water. 5) Remove any ballast weights installed on the front of the tractor. 6) Top off the tires with air, 7) Clean and lubricate grease fittings. 8) Check the hydraulic fluid level and coolant and add any if needed. 9) Store the tractor indoors in a dry area that is protected from sunlight and heat. 10) If the tractor must be stored outdoors, cover it with a waterproof tarp.
