Smile more folks because not smiling in your profile picture is hurting your brand—that intrinsic ‘gut-feeling’ we work hard for. Why? Because people who smile in their profile picture get 10x more engagement. TEN. TIMES. When you’re scrolling you might not even notice it, but it’s happening. You’re scanning for a welcoming face, energy, or message. "A smile is a universal language. It transcends borders, cultures, and languages. It's a way to connect with others on a deeper level, even online." – Mr. Beast At the end of the day, smiling more is an easy way to build trust and be introduced to new people. #events #marketing #branding #smilemore

Boost your brands authenticity and relatability! How can video help this? By capturing members of your teams personalities, lived experiences and favourite parts about their role, it humanises the brand and builds a connection with real people. Utilise people to connect with other people, kind of makes sense right? Video is such a powerful tool for this as it captures authentic moments, builds reliability and showcases personality, through the staff member being asked the right questions. This is so important to do as it allows people to connect with your brand in a more natural way and as they say, people do buy off people, so showcase your trusted work force and their core values to attract more people to your brand. As the year-end approaches and a range of religious and cultural holidays begin, how do you ensure your marketing resonates with everyone? November & December brings a season of celebration, but when your clients come from diverse backgrounds, a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t always work. Instead, it’s about thoughtful, inclusive messaging that resonates with everyone. Here’s what to consider: Make gratitude, growth, and reflection the focal points of your content- they’re values that anyone, regardless of background, can connect with. Be mindful in your wording and imagery, keeping it warm but neutral so that everyone feels included. Acknowledge your client relationships and the trust they’ve shown your business over the year. A simple, genuine message of appreciation goes a long way. If you find this helpful drop us a like or share with your network. #DiverseMarketing #B2BMarkteting #BusinessGrowth

JOT - Jai's One Thought ❗️It's not who you are, but who knows who you are, that matters! 🔆"There's only one thing in life worse than being talked about - and, that is not being talked about." - Oscar Wilde (Irish poet and playwright, one of the most popular playwrights in London in the early-1890s) ❓️Do you have a specialized skill, or expertise in any field? ⁉️And, do people, especially those who matter in your profession, know about it? If you answered "Yes," to that question, you're probably doing a fairly good job with your self-promotion, marketing, and managing your SM presence, on relevant platforms. Or, maybe, you're good at business networking, and socializing. Conversely, if you answered "No" to that question, you've a talent, or skill, that's waiting to be discovered by the world! ✔️As they say - "It's not just who you are, and what you do, that's important - but, who knows who you are, and what you do." That can only be achieved by being more visible, active on various platforms - live, or online, and sociable. Personally, being a speaker, coach, and trainer, my brand image is important to me, since I could influence, often young, impressionable minds, through my thoughts, words, and actions. So, does being talked about, well of course, matter to you? It probably does, if you're in a professional environment - a manager, supervisor, team lead, delivery head, or just a dedicated, individual contributor. ➡️Just think about it. You go to a doctor, dentist, lawyer, hair dresser, tailor, or any other professional, because people talked well about them, right? On the contrary, you might not have confidently consulted any of those professionals, if you had not heard about them, right? I know, besides the professional service providers I've mentioned above, I have my preferred airline, hotel, restaurant, consumerbrands, even a favorite music store, based on my own experience as a consumer, and on referrals from trusted people. 🔅As they say - 3P = HC Third Party = Higher Credibility. What do you think? #visibility #networking #socializing #relationshipbuilding

People connect with your personal brand in 2 ways: 🧠 + ❤️ 🧠 Intellectual connection: → You share knowledge & insights → People value your opinions → You're seen as a subject matter expert With this alone, you’ll gain respect but miss out on deeper relationships. ❤️ Emotional connection: → You resonate & empathise with each other → You share similar experiences → You stand on the same values With this alone, you’ll build closeness but might be seen as lacking expertise. Combining both earns you: - Respect and relatability - Influence and empathy - Authority and authenticity And you create a personal brand that people trust and feel a bond with. 🧠 + ❤️ = what connects us all :)

I believe you can have a well established personal brand and still be a private person. I also believe being authentic does not necessarily mean being raw and divulging all parts of yourself. In each role we play, the definition of ‘being ourself’ will ultimately change. There are parts of myself that will never go on public display, they are reserved for my closest friends and family because they serve no purpose to what I do and the audience I aim to serve. The same will undoubtedly apply to you. What matters is that you are being true to who you want to be in that context and at all times considering how it serves the audience you are trying to reach. A quick way to determine if you are, is to ask yourself these simple questions- Are you attracting the right people? Are you attracting the right opportunities? If the answer is no to these questions, there is a good chance you are on the wrong path. Perhaps you are showing up in a way you think you ‘should’ but not true to who you are and/or you are not visible in the way you need to be. When done well and clear with intentions, shaping a personal brand, communicating your value and being brave enough to be yourself; allows you to attract the right people, places and opportunities into your life. It is about showing your personality, allowing people to hear your conversational voice, having the courage to own your style, making your personal values known, and sharing your ideas using stories that mean something to you (while also adding value to the audience). It is about bringing yourself to the role and giving it your unique spin. If you are not showing up as yourself, the question is, how can the people looking for someone just like you find you? I would love your thoughts on this. (Quote- Alex Aubrey) #thebrandinyou #personalbranding
