I've been stuck in Dallas for 24 hours due to airport and weather woes - by Thursday I will put out a more detailed crop report for Crespo Organic and remind everyone that February and March will be extremely difficult with less fruit available, mostly because of the damage the heavy wind in late December did to blooms and early setting fruit- but the market will be Frenzied with a capital F because the  shortage or gaps Mexico will have is seriously exacerbated by the lack of Peruvian fruit on the market- normally there is A LOT of Peruvian fruit so Mexico has time to increase volume. This is not the case and a lack of fruit for months makes everyone mango hungry. The pressure will be incredibly intense and prices likely higher than I have ever seen them.  The good news for our regular program customers - season start to season finish kind of folks- we have fruit and we have your back. Most big programs are being priced for April onward FYI. Everything has to change this early season.   there is always good news- and we have fruit- pretty good supplies of fruit - we are after all the #MangoExperts Roberto gives us a sneak peak at the first organic Ataulfos being picked and packed as we speak and Tommy's will come as well - soon. If this seems like too much work for you, plant the capsicum seeds directly into the large pot initially so you won’t have to transfer them later. It’s crucial to handle the roots and plant gently to avoid damaging the plant. The optimal time to switch to larger pots when starting seedlings in small pots is around 3-4 weeks after they sprout. When beer ingredients move inside: beer should be cold but hops like it warm In northwestern Spain, hop is growing inside a greenhouse - instead of in the fields in summer. hop is a sensitive crop and does not like rising temperature and increased droughts, but too much rain neither. Subsequently, hop production was down 40 percent last year in Europe. But it's not only the yield, also the quality in terms of alpha acids, which are crucial for the taste and bitterness of beer. Spanish start-up Ekonoke is growing hop in a greenhouse, controlling environmental and nutrition parameters and lighting factors, using LED lights. Based on hydroponics, the nutrient-infused water is reused and pesticides are not applied. Instead of one growing cycle per year in the fields, in the greenhouse it takes only three months. In addition, the inhouse grown hop produces more alpha acids per kilogram than the one in the fields.

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆: 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 Now that's something different! Have you ever tried cassava root? 🌱 Cassava is a plant species of the genus Manihot (manioc). Other names for this crop and its agricultural product (the harvested root tubers) are mandi'o (Paraguay), mandioca (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay), cassava or, in Spanish-speaking Latin America, yuca. The plant is widely cultivated because of its starchy root tubers. The processed starch is called tapioca. It originally comes from South America and was already used as a food by the indigenous people. For one of our customers, we made wonderful snacks in various shapes from the cooked tuber. The deep-fried snacks are similar to the potato products we are familiar with in Germany. However, the consistency and taste are very different.  From my own experience, I can say: incredibly tasty! And they look great too, don't they? Do you also want to make products like these?
