If you’ve heard me talk about intergenerational living ALL of this week, you know I’m a big fan. 💙 These communities bring people of all ages together to live and support each other—and they’re an antidote to loneliness and housing woes. But how do we get more of them? Here are four ways the new "Blueprint for Intergenerational Living" says we can make it happen: 1️⃣ Show the evidence: Prove that these communities benefit health and happiness—especially for older adults. 2️⃣ Raise awareness: Get the word out! Many people don’t know this housing option even exists. 3️⃣ Align policies and funding: Create programs that make it easier to build and sustain these communities. 4️⃣ Learn from the pros: Tap into lessons from existing communities on financing, operations, and design.
