Trae has been a real leader in the #Defensetech sector. I remember us chatting about this space back in 2013-2015 time frame and his skepticism. In hindsight he knew key ingredients were missing in those companies. Country would benefit tremendously if he was in a DoD role!
Trae’ is a charitable and creative Christian who is committed to making these industries more innovative
Kind of sad that Anduril ignores qualified folks due to executive dictates (like no one with consulting backgrounds) rather than marshaling the best people to defend the country. Let's put our country first!
I has the same thoughts, Govtech and Defensetech incumbents have insane bloat with little competition wasting tax $. Trae will be a great addition for our country.
I have a healthy skepticism of billionaires working in the public interest - sans my colleagues Bijan and Mike ;)
Trae would Be great!
I couldn't agree with you more Bilal Zuberi! I had the pleasure of interviewing with Trae Stephens at Founders Fund in 2019 and found him to be incredibly insightful, thoughtful in his approach, and someone to watch!
Hope he brings back Michael A. Brown to lead procurement, whose original appointment for that role a few years ago was unfairly undermined at the time. He'd be a great reformer

5dThis would be a massive opportunity to hopefully modernize and innovate the way DoD does acquisition and interacts with the startup, commercial innovation and capital community. Trae Stephens truly knows his stuff.
