How many relationships you can build. 2. How much value you can add to those relationships before they decide to work with you. That’s it. I’ve found that the more I focus on building genuine connections and providing real value—whether it’s advice, insights, or just being available—the more opportunities come my way. Early on, I used to chase every lead, thinking volume was the key. But what really changed my business was shifting to relationships and value. The deeper I went with people, the more referrals, repeat clients, and steady business I saw.
