Course Story: In 2020, I earned a certificate in 16S rRNA Microbiome Intermediate Bioinformatics from H3ABioNet. This course was an important milestone in my bioinformatics journey, providing me with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in microbiome research. Throughout the course, I gained valuable skills such as: ✍️Designing 16S rRNA microbiome studies Using the Linux command line and R for bioinformatics analyses ♻️Performing sample collection, extraction, and NGS library prep ⌨️Applying and automating 16S rRNA sequencing bioinformatics pipelines with Nextflow and Singularity 🧾Analyzing microbiome data and interpreting results With 46 hours of intensive training across 6 modules, this experience helped shape my expertise in bioinformatics, preparing me for advanced microbiome research projects. #Bioinformatics #H3ABioNet #16SrRNA #Microbiome #NGS #RProgramming #Nextflow #ContinuousLearning #Research
