CURRYiT, a startup specializing in cooking pastes, has successfully raised Rs 4.5 crore in a seed funding round. The round was co-led by RK Family Trust, Tangent Advisors, and Freeflow Ventures, with participation from prominent angel investors such as Ramesh Damani of DMart group and Ajaya Jain. Founded by IIM alumni Richa Sharma and Nischal Kandula, CURRYiT offers a wide range of cooking pastes, including Kashmiri Rogan Josh, Butter Masala, biryani pastes, ginger garlic paste, tomato purees, and instant tadka. The startup aims to provide cleaner and healthier alternatives to existing products in the market, which are often loaded with chemicals, preservatives, and palm oil. The newly raised capital will be used to scale up CURRYiT's manufacturing and distribution capabilities. The startup plans to enhance its brand marketing efforts and strengthen its distribution channels to meet growing consumer demand. With increased production capacity, CURRYiT aims to quadruple its monthly revenue within the next six months. CURRYiT operates a world-class, FDA and ISO-certified in-house manufacturing facility that includes over 40 quality checks. WickedGüd, a Mumbai-based healthy food brand, has raised ₹20 crore in funding led by Orios Venture Partners, with participation from Asiana Fund and existing investors. This announcement comes nearly a year after their previous ₹6 crore raise and highlights the sustained confidence investors have in the brand’s vision. The pre-money valuation of CURRYiT stood at Rs 40 crore.  What does CURRYiT do? Founded by IIM alumni Richa Sharma and Nischal Kandula, CURRYiT offers the largest range of cooking pastes in India, including curry pastes such as Kashmiri Rogan Josh, Butter Masala, biryani pastes, ginger garlic paste, tomato purees, and instant tadka.  The startup claims that it serves 25,000+ pin codes per day and has witnessed over 50% month-on-month growth on Q-commerce platforms. Millet-Based Brand Troo Good Raises ₹72 Crore to Transform Healthy Snacking! Millet-based snack brand Troo Good has reportedly raised ₹72 crore in a new funding round led by Oaks Asset Management, Puro Wellness, and V Ocean Investments. The company’s board approved the issuance of 10,176 equity shares to secure the funds, as revealed in regulatory filings accessed by Entrackr. Oaks Asset Management, a returning investor, led the round with a contribution of ₹37 crore. Puro Wellness invested ₹25 crore, while V Ocean Investments contributed ₹10 crore. With these investments, Oaks Asset Management now holds 28.89% of Troo Good’s capital. Puro Wellness and V Ocean Investments command stakes of 7.75% and 14.28%, respectively. The Hyderabad-based startup is expected to use the raised capital to scale its business further and expand its product line. Founded in 2018 by Raju Bhupati, Troo Good focuses on millet-based snacks, offering products such as chikkis, protein bars, and nutri bars.
