Movember Matters 💯 As we continue our journey through Movember, let’s shine a light on some important statistics that highlight why this campaign is crucial: - 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, making it one of the most common cancers among men. - Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men aged 15-34, with an average diagnosis age of just 33. - Shockingly, men are three times more likely than women to die by suicide, emphasizing the need for mental health awareness and support. At Buildsafe, we’re committed to raising awareness for these critical issues. Together, we can encourage conversations about health, promote early detection, and support those in need. Join us in making a difference this Movember! [https://loom.ly/dE3DG-I] #Movember #TeamBuildsafe #MensHealth #GrowForACause

Movember 🥸 comes to an end, but our commitment continues. 👨⚕️👩⚕️ This November, through Movember, we’ve shed light on critical men’s health issues: prostate cancer, mental health, and more. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, raised awareness, or supported this important cause. This effort resonates with October’s Pink Ribbon 🎀 campaign, where we focused on breast cancer awareness and prevention. Two initiatives, two months, but one universal message: take care of our health and prioritize prevention all year round. But awareness alone is not enough—research is key to making breakthroughs. Whether it’s finding new treatments, improving diagnostics, or supporting mental health programs, every contribution helps. Let’s continue to donate, support, and advocate for those in need. Health, whether for men or women, deserves our ongoing attention. Let’s take the time to talk, stay informed, and take action—for ourselves and for our loved ones. #Movember #PinkOctober #Health #Research #Prevention #WellBeing #Solidarity

Movember 2024... end of month result... Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying on average 4.5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. A growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men. This year I am delighted to say that the VMO2 Mo-bros have managed to raise a whopping £6,018 for the Movember foundation, as well as sparking conversation and signposting colleagues, friends and family to help and support. Thanks to the team and to everyone who has donated this year. This month is for the men of the world - the brothers in arms! This Movember, it isn’t about standing out individually. This month, we need to stand united, together, to support those who truly need a hand standing up again. It’s not just about growing a moustache; it's about growing awareness and compassion for the men around us who may be silently struggling. Mental health, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer are battles many face, often behind closed doors. Together, we can break the silence and provide the support needed to make a difference. Whether it’s through a conversation, a donation, or simply showing solidarity, every small action counts. By standing side by side, we can help build a stronger, healthier future for men everywhere. Let’s encourage each other to take part, share stories, and offer support—not just for ourselves, but for our brothers, fathers, sons, and friends who might need us now more than ever. Movember is a movement of unity and strength, and this year, I believe we can make a profound impact. #Movember #MenSupportingMen #SupportEachOther #TogetherWeCan #BreakTheStigma #ProstateCancerAwareness #TesticularCancer #MentalHealthAwareness #MensHealthMatters 👏 ✊ 💪 🙌 👏 ✊ 💪 🙌
