EOW Update: From stormy chaos to clear blue skies – that's our story this week. Last week, it felt like the universe was poking me on the shoulder, asking, "How badly do you want this?" As always, we powered through, and now the rewards are rolling in. Slowly but surely, the business is taking shape. You might recall that I recently discussed the importance of hiring and delegating. Well, that is coming along nicely and we have finally assembled our dream team! Some of the positions now filled include: -Chief Legal/Finance Officer -Head of Operations -Editor -Designer We are also working with some fantastic outside agencies and contractors. (I'm still looking for a Russian-speaking Social Media Manager. Feel free to contact me with recommendations!) The result? I'm freed up to focus on partnerships and high-value tasks. Plus, I've been building the product with John for 15-Minute Mastery. Trust me, you're going to love it! Last week was one of the toughest I've had. This week? One of the best. Building a new function at a company require versatility, adaptability, and wearing multiple hats As we are building at Pipedream, today I found myself: - Reviewing partner feedback calls - Snipping calls and sharing with Product Team - Company all-hands to learn what the rest of the org is doing/building - Conducting prospective partner interviews to learn how they talk about Pipedream and use cases - Planning a new partner content series 👀 - Developing Product Marketing initiatives - Aligning goals with Revenue leadership - Wire mapping Partner website page - Writing website copy These responsible fall across many departments including Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Service This requires Versatility, Adaptability, and strong Time Management to ensure our goals are being achieved Some people prefer large organizations where your role is very specialized To me, there is nothing more rewarding than feeling a sense of ownership, and seeing the direct impact of these diverse efforts on the company's success working cross-functionally What are you most proud of in your work?
