Most people overestimate how hard it is to make their first $1M in business. Let me share an insight I’ve been thinking about lately. This idea is borrowed from sports, but the lesson applies directly to business. You’ve probably heard of the four-minute mile. For the longest time, athletes thought running a mile in under four minutes was impossible. That was until Roger Bannister broke the record. After that, many others followed, and what was once impossible became the norm. A similar event occurred recently at the Paris Olympics, when a Chinese swimmer broke the 100-meter freestyle record. We’ll likely see more swimmers achieve the same feat. The takeaway? An “impossible” goal suddenly feels much more achievable when surrounded by people who have done it. In other words… Your Circle Defines Your Reality. In business, this is just as true as it is in sports. If you want to grow, you need to work on your game—your sales, marketing, offers, systems, and most importantly, your mindset as an entrepreneur. And the easiest way to level up in all of these areas? Surround yourself with the right crowd. When you’re hanging out with people who have clarity, drive, and focus, you automatically raise your standards. It’s like playing soccer with Messi or b-balling with Kobe… You can’t help but improve your results. A "No" is definitely better than "maybe he would have said yes". It surely sounds like advice that pickup artists give. Ironically, this advice works in every aspect of your life. Lets analyze the probability of what reply you could get if you asked a successful person in your niche for their mentorship or a partnership with them. If you asked them: 50% - Yes 50% - No If you never asked them: 0% - Yes 100% - No If they say yes, you are in for a learning experience of a lifetime and it will empower you to take more risks in life and before you realize, you will gain momentum in taking risks and succeeding in everything. Consistently find people whom you can learn from and ask them for their mentorship, partnership(if you have some product) or guidance on anything. You are either going to get ghosted or learn something. The trick here is in not getting demotivated when you do not get a reply or somebody says "No" to you. It is only going to help you become thick-skinned. Take action on this today and message 3 people who are successful in your industry and ask them for guidance, mentorship or for any other opportunity. I know that being an entrepreneur can be hard. On some days it feels like you're unstoppable, you're superman or even wonder woman.
