Quantinuum 's quantum computer smashes Google 's record by a factor 100, towards #QuantumSupremacy? The H2-1 is a #quantumcomputer developed by Quantinuum 1. It’s a significant advancement in the field of #quantumcomputing as it features 56 #fullyconnected, #highfidelity #qubits 2. This is a major #enhancement from their previous model which had 32 qubits 1. The H2-1 has set new performance benchmarks in the industry 3. It’s now #impossible for a #classical #computer to fully #simulate the H2-1 due to its high quantum volume of 262,144 (2^18) 2. This marks a #departure from the era of #classical #simulation 1. In a #demonstration with JPMorganChase, the H2-1 achieved a significant uplift in performance 1. Moreover, Quantinuum’s analysis indicates that the H2-1 executes Random Circuit Sampling (RCS) at 56 qubits with an estimated 30,000x reduction in #powerconsumption compared to classical supercomputers 4 3.
