🔥 📹 Hot takes from Singapore FinTech Festival: How do you get the investment in #AI right? "INVEST CORRECTLY", says Gaurav Kwatra, in conversation with Christina Kyriakides. There is OVER investment in data infrastructure and UNDER investment in deep AI knowledge in business teams. If you invest in just the infrastructure you won't get value, if you invest in a high-value business area you will get returns within one year. These insights align with a lot of what I see personally too, which is that when I see CIOs, CDOs, CEOs or CTOs trying to push this agenda 'outwards' from the Tech org it rarely has as much impact as when you have some really invested business stakeholders and sponsors who believe in the mission, and the messaging comes from them to their teams to go deep on understanding how to make the most out of AI and Gen AI tools in their organisation.
