It’s just so fishy… 🎣 Florida's Amendment 3 restricts recreational cannabis sales to licensed medical dispensaries, dominated by corporations like Trulieve, which controls over 51% of the market. With initial application fees at $146,000 and renewal fees over $1 million, obtaining a license is both challenging and costly. The vertical integration requirement, necessitating cultivation, processing, and dispensing, effectively excludes most potential entrants due to high costs and complexity. The initial licensing round faced allegations of favoritism and legal challenges, leading to market power concentration among a few large companies. This action is seen as a strategy to restrict market access, with regulations serving as tools to limit entry to well-funded, larger entities. This is exactly why safe access to hemp-derived cannabinoids is the solution. 💡

#JDVance , IF there is fentanyl in marijuana and teens are getting it; THEN We really need to LEGALIZE Tax and Regulate FEDERALLY so there are age restrictions and the alternative markets dry up! That’s sensible. Fentanyl is a schedule 2 drug, Marijuana is still schedule 1. THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE IS PUTTING FENTANYL INTO MARIJUANA; IN legal PRODUCTS that’s INSANE not to mention super expensive to add to a product that has shrinking margins, no business sense. This is classic wag the dog to inaccurately portray the industry and force federal legalization, imo (which is a good thing) Decriminalization doesn’t protect and provide safeguards through regulation. Criminization forces an increase in youth use rates. It was totally illegal when we were in our youth and easily accessible in lower income neighborhoods regardless of age; And expensive considering the quality. AGAIN tax, regulate and set age limits.
JD Vance Claims There's 'Fentanyl In Our Marijuana Bags That Our Teenagers Are Using': "I'm certain...that one day, one of my kids is going to take something...that I don't want them to take. But I don't want that mistake to ruin their life."

There were very interesting results in Florida tonight. While a majority voted to legalize recreational use, it will not cross the 60% threshold needed to pass. If you add in the failure to legalize in North Dakota tonight and the repeal of 110 in Oregon earlier this year, I wonder if these initiatives were caught up in the maelstrom of a close presidential race or if this is the start of the pendulum swinging back on the pro-legalization wins of the last 2 decades. This is at a time when both presidential candidates expressed support for legalization for the first time in American history. Is this the high watermark for legalization? #amendment3 #marijuana #legalizenow #legalizeit #politics
