Sometimes the patient’s rotator cuff goes 😡 Going from aTSA to RSA is the next step - and this stemless implant plays a major role in that next procedure. There’s a study of 279 patients getting a revision from anatomic to reverse (70 convertible, 209 non convertible), and one of the measures the authors looked at was operative time for the whole procedure. An interesting finding was that a stemless aTSA revised to a RSA had the shortest operative times of all implant types - including convertible systems.
