“Elite High-Performance Culture ignited from the ground up!”
Sure, that’s not quite how the cheer call went; but, we’re still super proud to have sponsored the RLS Elite Cheer teams, Venom and Rogue, as they competed at the AllStar World Championship last week, April 18th - 21st.
The junior teams had the adventure of a lifetime, traveling all the way from Coventry in the west midlands of the UK to the world championships held at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida. RLS sent 4 teams to the US for the competition, the junior teams: Venom & Rogue, and the senior teams: Colossus & Havok.
We want to shout out an extra special congratulatory cheer for Hadley-Jay Price, who has been cheerleading for four years. As the only boy in his troop, Hadley, age 12, competed in two teams across the competition. RPO joins Hadley’s father Dave (who just so happens to be our company driver, tour guide, and everyone’s favorite MVP at RPO) in sharing our immense pride in his achievements.
The standard of the competition was incredible, as over 80 teams from around the world vied for 1st place. The Venom troop delivered an outstanding performance and hit zero, which means no mistakes were made during their routine. While the junior teams didn’t make finals, we are all inspired by the dedication, joy, and passion they trained and performed with, to compete strongly alongside world-class caliber teams.
Much to everyone’s jubilation the senior teams, Colossus and Havok, ended the championship on an impressive high, ranking 5th and 3rd in the world, respectively.
It just goes to show, that a team who works hard together and gives their vision 100% can celebrate the view from the top of the world!

🏅 Amidst a doom loop of bad news, the incredible success of our Olympic team in Paris, was a beacon of light during this winter of discontent.
🕴 Elite sport is not business, but at a time when we are plagued by an inability to get ambitious and important projects done, there's plenty we can learn from our elite athletes and our national approach to winning on the world stage, including the importance of goal setting, taking a long-term view, spotting and nurturing talent, embracing innovation, and being willing to pick winners.

Lessons from the Pitch: Building a Winning Team
Last weekend's cricket match against our corporate rivals Rime Group, OOCL, Almarai - المراعي, Jubaili Bros and Indus Real Estate was more than just a game; it was a stark reminder that teamwork, strategy, and a relentless competitive spirit are essential for success.
- Teamwork: A strong, diverse team is crucial for success.
- Leadership: Effective leadership is essential for guiding the team.
- Competition: Never underestimate opponents; continuous improvement is key.
- Sportsmanship: Fair play and respect build strong relationships.
Just as a cricket match requires physical fitness, mental agility, and strategic thinking, so too does the business world. By embodying these lessons on and off the field, we can strengthen our team, achieve our goals, and build a successful future together.
We'll be back stronger!!! 💪 💪 💪

Less than a month to go until the 2024 Women’s Six Nations gets underway, as the Red Roses take on Italy in round one.🌹
It’s been all systems go for England in the build-up to the tournament, and they’ve been training at St. George's Park – the 330 acre complex and state-of-the art facility – as they prepare to retain their Six Nations title.
England’s Women’s Rugby Athletic Performance Manager, Robin Eager, gave the Leaders Performance Institute an exclusive insight on how those preparations have been going, and how they’re looking to get on the front foot with individual development and a strong team culture.

Winning in front of millions is great
Winning with integrity is unforgettable.
In the 2017 Super Series Finals, Viktor Axelsen gave us a masterclass in sportsmanship.
After a tight moment when he touched the net, which the umpire missed,
Axelsen made a choice: he handed his opponent the next point.
It was a high-stakes match.
Winning meant everything.
But he put fairness above all else.
Axelsen won the match, but it was his decision to stay honest that made an impression.
It’s a lesson in integrity that can apply to us all—whether on the court or in the workplace.
We might not control every outcome, but we always control our response:
☑ Do the right thing, even when it’s tough.
☑ Stay fair, even if it means giving something up.
☑ Lead by example, consistently.
Your actions speak louder than words.
When faced with the choice, will you let integrity guide you? 👇

Some of the most renowned football academies or recruitment processes by their titles, but:
I believe in the process!
→ I strongly identify with FC Barcelona's process because I believe they revolutionized football by installing an organized project from the grassroots to the TOP level.
→ Another project I'd like to mention that stands out in Latin America is Independiente del Valle, as it embodies the vision I had during the early days of my career as a football agent.
They not only excel in Ecuadorian football but also across Latin America despite being a relatively young project.
Naturally, there are other important and successful recruitment academies and talent development in Latin America, such as
→ River Plate
→ Boca Juniors
→ Argentinos Juniors
→ Talleres de Córdoba in Argentina.
Similarly, in Brazil, clubs like:
→ Santos
→ Grêmio, and others have made significant contributions.

#Day2/100-Days Post Challenge!
I recently had the privilege of hosting the LPU Super Cup 2024 football championship season 1, where both national and international players participated. Here are 5 key learnings from this amazing experience:
1. Team Spirit : Watching players from different countries come together and work as a cohesive unit was inspiring. It showed that teamwork transcends language barriers.
2. Sportsmanship : Despite fierce competition, the level of respect among players was heartwarming. A simple gesture of sportsmanship can bridge cultural gaps.
3. Leadership : Organizing an event of this scale taught me the importance of strong leadership. Clear communication and decision-making are crucial to keep things running smoothly.
4. Adaptability : With so many diverse participants, flexibility was key. Whether it was dealing with unexpected changes or coordinating with various stakeholders, adaptability was essential.
5. Cultural Exchange : The interactions among players from different backgrounds provided a unique opportunity for cultural exchange. It’s a reminder that sports can unite us, regardless of where we come from.
Grateful for this experience and excited for what's next! ⚽🌎
