RSM recently released their "2024 RSM Family Office Operational Excellence" report exploring the operational status, challenges and opportunities of over 100 family offices across the US and Canada. The report is packed with insightful information, and we wanted to share some of our favorite findings: 1. Nearly 28% of respondents from large FOs view outsourcing as a method of focusing on delivering value, compared to 43% of respondents from midsize FOs and 58% of respondents from small FOs. 2. 62% of SFO respondents agreed that having best-in-class technology is a challenge to deliver in-house. 3. 70% of respondents from Family Offices established since 2015 see outsourcing as a value driver. #IndustryUpdate | The congressional bicameral conference committee recently approved the CREATE MORE Bill, one of the measures marked as “top priority” by the Legislative–Executive Development Advisory Council. Under Section 26 of the said bill, Registered Business Enterprises (RBEs) may be allowed up to 50% work-from-home arrangements, subject to prescribed rules and regulations of their respective investment promotions agency (IPA).
