Using the Hu methodology has the potential to increase the average market capitalization of a private company up to 13.7%, due to a more effective and defensible valuation of the intangible value related to corporate responsibility or sustainability efforts. You already have the Data + The Value of your Good Works has been documented (defensible evidence) => How much can a Hu Valuation impact your Bottom Line? => About the Hu (https://lnkd.in/gC6tV3NV). #impactinvesting #hudsm2024 #esgracs #esgreporting #sustainability #Hu Krysti Clayton Mostert, Karter Smith, Chris Draper, Nicky Gillibrand, Stephanie Majeran, Chris Tesarski, Chrissy Culek, Aaron Santos, PhD, Justin Venetucci, Brandi Amantea, Ese Okereka, Aubrey (Martinez) Alvarez (She/Her), Ramon Solis
Thanks for sharing. At a basic level, what you are describing as HU is similar to normative valuation, where differing theories of change and resultant impacts are valued on a normative basis in order to generate holistic views of businesoand their aggregate impacts. Andrew Watson does a great job framing what normative accounting can look like, starting with the basic oremise that we need more holistic measures then what accountants currently generate.
Thanks for sharing, thinking about it

7moThank you for sharing, Brian. When it comes to trafficking of children and adults I have been involved using sustainability based analytical tools including quantum mechanics and our elliptic risk and consequences system. Includes solicitors and law enforcement agencies to stop trafficking of even wildlife where Pangolins and and shark fins are priority as they are all operated by various underground groups including extortion, smuggling of drugs and corruption. So I know a bit about this after 30 years involved, again why sustainability is important as the key to a global ecosystem of professional experts in human rights and corporate responsibility and governance. I used and developed ML systems (not Artificial Intelligence as these machines and algorithms are NOT intelligent) and technology to support the operational capabilities and systems telling how “dangerous” AI is when used as a toy by some and money machine by others and by the gangs selling children and drugs undermining our society. ESG has nothing to do with sustainability, absolutely nothing but was mixed into the money grid by big corporations pushing for more easy money from their reporting business. BUT when you know HOW to think sustainability ESG can deliver.
