When Product-Market Fit (PMF) just isn’t there: Another journey with a client we can all learn from... Working in video production, we always aim to tell a story that resonates, converts, and amplifies a brand’s unique value. Recently, we partnered with a client whose product was in its early stages, but they hadn’t quite found that crucial Product-Market Fit (PMF) yet. The challenge? Creating compelling content that would connect with an audience who wasn’t fully sold on the product. Despite our team’s best efforts—from crafting persuasive messaging to eye-catching visuals—the response was lukewarm. Why? Without PMF, it’s tough to reach the ideal audience with the right story, no matter how polished the production. The takeaway? Great video production amplifies an existing connection with the audience. But when PMF is missing, even the most stunning visuals and expertly crafted narratives can fall flat.
