😫 Tired of Excessive Ads and Political Propaganda? 🛠️ You can take control of your Experience in MS Edge. 👇 Here's what I did: 🧑💻 Change Your Start Page in Edge 🔹 Open Microsoft Edge and select the three dots (…) in the upper right-hand corner 🔹 Go to Settings > Start, home, and new tabs 🔹 Select "Open these pages" and add your preferred URL (I chose to set mine to Perplexity) 🔹 Click "Add" to save changes 🧑💻Change the URL of New Tabs 🔹 Install the "Custom New Tab" extension from the Microsoft Edge store 🔹 Click on the extension's icon in the top right corner and select "Options" 🔹 Enter your preferred URL (again, I chose Perplexity) in the "Custom URL" field 🔹 Click "Save" to apply changes

New Outlook? Am I the only one p*ssed off by Microsoft's attempt to dump a new version of "Outlook" upon? I mean, how can they expect me to be happy if they take away a fully functional version of Outlook, replace it with some skeleton program which includes advertisements? Are they going to do this with all their applications, word, excell, powerpoint, and then force you to pay extra for more functions which you currently have. I guess this is some kind of a crime even in capitalism. Changing your service conditions unilaterally in a monopolistic market.

Ever notice that when you try to copy and paste a table or bullet-point list from Microsoft Word to Google Docs or Slack and vice versa the formatting always get messed up? Here's my hack to fix it: Step 1: Manually edit the pasted table/list with extreme prejudice Step 2: Complain that global juggernauts like Microsoft and Google are so petty that they purposely make it hard to transfer data between rival platforms Step 3: Grumble some more.

𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 🔎 Not the most earth shattering hack, but many don't seem to know that you can search the web without leaving the Word (or any Microsoft) app. While you're unlikely to replace your browser when looking up funny cat videos or questionable memes, using the search function in Microsoft is so much more powerful than just using it for a web search. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: • 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Access a consistent search interface across Microsoft 365 applications, find information without switching platforms. • 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶s𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀: AI-driven suggestions tailored to individual user activity and context ensure relevant search results. • 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Search across various data sources, including files, people, organisations, and external content. • 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Results are based on the context of the application being used, providing users with the most relevant information. • 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀: Users can locate shared files and relevant content quickly and easily. • 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹: Administrators can customise the search experience by creating bookmarks and managing external content connections to improve user access to essential resources. • 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: Search results respect user permissions, ensuring that individuals only see content they’re authorised to access. 🎥👇 𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟: https://rb.gy/kc79x7 #MSOfficeTips #ProductivityHacks #WordMagic #WorkSmart #Office365 #Efficiency #TechTips #Ideaseed

Which version performed better top or bottom? And why? Learning from your user behavior is vital. It might be the most important thing you can do for your business. Top was before Bottom was after Analyzing my user's behavior using Microsoft Clarity (free tool) ... I could see that a lot of users did not realize they could right click the bento cards to edit the text, content, etc. The TOP image was the lower converting version. I know I probably threw you off with the colors. But move past the colors. Users were just not seeing the alert box to the right. Correction, not all users, at least 60% of traffic did not pay attention to the small bottom right alert box. So I moved the "heads up! you can right click..." text front and center. This gave me the opportunity to put a, non-intrusive, "vote for me" option and Launch day coupon code in the message. btw I am live on PH. Use code YUMMY for the next day to get 50% off Lifetime access

Did you know Outlook has a built-in poll feature? Outlook is one of the most used and most frustrating Microsoft tools from your day-to-day, but it has many lesser known features like this to make your life easier. The poll-feature is perfect for quickly tallying group votes (like picking a meeting date) and keeps your inbox clutter-free. Want more Microsoft tips?
