Director at The Web Guys

Confession Time: I failed miserably when I first started coding. My code was sloppy, scattered, and just not good. But, I'm a stubborn SOB. I didn't give up...and now, I'm pretty damn good. I've learned a few lessons from my failures: 1) Start simple. Don't bite off more than you can chew. 2) Be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will your code. 3) Get involved. Join communities, meetups, and collaborate with other developers. 4) Don't be afraid to start over. Sometimes, a fresh start is exactly what you need to break through a plateau. And a shortcut? Leverage the vast number of resources and communities available online: - Stack Overflow - GitHub - CodePen - FreeCodeCamp - CSS-Tricks Web development isn't easy. But, with the right mindset, resources, and guidance, you can master it.
