If I’m perfectly honest I think the picture says it all, but what an incredible team effort to partner with such an iconic venue and showcase our entire portfolio to the cricket world. I could not be more excited and proud to be part of a business that continues to push the boundaries and challenge ourselves to reach new levels year on year.
Bring on the 2025 season.

This weekend was amazing time spent with our team of enthusiastic young rugby players! Leading a team of youngsters is much like leading a team at work. It's all about showing up, providing the right motivation and allowing them to reach their full potential. However, in addition to these responsibilities, managing the inevitable bumps and bruises that come with the sport is also a must. As a team leader, it's important to be there for your players both on and off the field. #teamleadership#rugby#motivation

How important is MOMENTUM... 💥
This weekend saw my side win our 3rd league title in a row!
It was a tough slog in an 18-11 win on Saturday and our momentum from only one league loss all season, got us over the line.
Positivity, confidence and optimism can be so important - when you feel like you can't lose and things are going your way, it builds serious momentum! 📈
Recruitment / Sales is often the same. 🤝
One good month becomes a good quarter, becomes a good year and when it's all feeling good, that alone is motivating and pushes performance higher!
The opposite happens if you drop your head after one defeat, one bad month, one drop-out etc.
So stay positive and focus on the good stuff!
Work wise, it's the start of the financial year and you can start building that momentum now!
Rugby wise - on to next season, another league higher, tougher games and unknown teams - but, we have momentum, built over 3 years! 👀

In our ongoing mini-series on leading change through coaching, we explore the significance of leveraging each team member's strengths, drawing inspiration from key moments in the Springboks' journey.
𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:
Cheslin Kolbe’s decisive try during the 2023 Rugby Championship was a standout moment that showcased the Law of the Niche. With the match hanging in the balance, Kolbe was positioned on the wing—a role that allowed him to fully utilize his exceptional speed, agility, and game awareness. When the opportunity arose, Kolbe seized it, darting through the defense to score a crucial try that shifted the momentum in favor of the Springboks.
𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀:
Kolbe’s success was more than individual talent; it was about the strategic decision to position him in a role where his skills could make the greatest impact. As a line manager, it’s vital to recognize your team members' specific strengths and ensure they operate in roles that allow them to excel.
A great team is more than talented players—it's about deploying those talents to achieve the best possible outcomes based on the context.

What’s the Blueprint for Champions Cup Rugby Semi-Final Victory.
In the heat of the semi-final battle, victory isn’t just about strength or skill – it’s about mastering the fundamentals and executing with precision. It’s easy to be tempted to reinvent the wheel, but true success lies in staying true to what you know best.
Your game plan is built on a foundation of excellence, honed through relentless practice and dedication. Every pass, every tackle, every decision is a reflection of your commitment to perfection. You don’t just aim to win; you aim to dominate.
But dominance isn’t achieved through brute force alone. It’s about understanding the big picture – knowing what you want to achieve and the key factors that underpin it. You’re not just playing for yourself but you’re playing for each other, for your fans, for the legacy of our club.
As you step onto the field, you know that victory hinges on your ability to exploit every opportunity – in attack, in defense, in every aspect of the game. You’re not just looking for the big plays; you’re seeking out the micro tweaks, the subtle adjustments that will give you the edge.
Workrate and focus are your allies in this quest. You know that your opposition will be formidable, but you also know that they can be beaten. The team with unwavering determination and a commitment to excellence will emerge victorious.
