Do you listen to yourself? Not just to vent, cry, or express frustration… but to truly listen. When you're navigating infertility, it’s easy to get caught up in the appointments, advice, and endless to-do lists. But how often do you pause and check in with your emotions, thoughts, and body? I know—it’s not easy. But just like nurturing a relationship, if you want to feel more connected to yourself and your journey, you need to spend TIME truly listening. ✨ One of the best ways to do this is through journaling. ✨ It’s one of my favorite self-care tools, and I recommend it to almost all my clients. Taking even 5–10 minutes a day to write down your thoughts and emotions can make you feel calmer, more at peace, and even more empowered as you navigate this season. It gives you space to let out your thoughts and emotions so you can practice empathy and self-compassion. So today, I encourage you to try it. Take time to listen to yourself—your fears, your hopes, and your dreams—and let journaling be part of your fertility journey. You might be surprised at how healing it can be. 💕 Spread the love! Share this with someone who is struggling with their emotions.

The holiday season can be filled with joy, but if you’re navigating infertility, it can also come with unexpected heartache—especially when your mailbox starts filling up with holiday cards. Each smiling family photo can feel like a reminder of what you’re longing for. You might feel: 💔 Left behind while others build the families you dream of. 💔 Alone in your struggle, like you’re the only one missing from this picture-perfect season. 💔 As though having a family comes so easily to everyone else. These emotions are valid, but they can also feel overwhelming. Here are some tips to help you cope with holiday cards during infertility: 1️⃣ Set boundaries: It’s okay to decide not to open or display cards this year if it feels too painful. Protect your emotional space. 2️⃣ Limit social media: If seeing holiday updates triggers envy or sadness, take a break from scrolling. 3️⃣ Lean on support: Share your feelings with someone you trust. You don’t have to carry this weight alone. 4️⃣ Reframe the season: Focus on traditions that bring you joy, whether it’s baking, watching movies, or volunteering. 5️⃣ Seek professional support: Talking with a therapist who understands infertility can help you process these feelings and find healthier ways to cope. You are not alone in this. Your story is valid, your feelings matter, and you are so much more than this struggle. At Phoenix Health, we’re here to support you through the emotional stress of infertility. Reach out by clicking the link in our bio to schedule a free 15-minute consultation or sign up for therapy. Can a pen and paper really calm your anxious mind? As a fertility coach, I've discovered something powerful: Your journey to motherhood doesn't just need medical support. It needs creative release. Here's what happens when anxiety builds: → Your thoughts spiral → Your body tenses → Your fertility journey feels overwhelming But there's magic in putting pen to paper or brush to canvas. Simple practices that transform: 1. Moon Journaling Track your cycles, emotions, and dreams Let your fears flow freely onto paper 2. Intuitive Art No artistic skills needed Just colors and shapes that express your heart 3. Gratitude Sketching Draw one small blessing daily Watch hope grow with each picture The results? • Reduced stress hormones • Clearer mind-body connection • Sacred space for processing emotions Because motherhood isn't just about conception. It's about becoming whole. Your art doesn't need to be perfect. Your words don't need to make sense. They just need to be real. P.S. Ready to explore creative healing? 🌸A Story of Hope and Resilience 🌸 Olivia’s fertility journey had been filled with ups and downs. Each month felt like a cycle of hope, disappointment, and overwhelming pressure. She couldn’t help but wonder if her stress was making things harder. She’d heard people talk about staying positive, but it felt impossible when so much was out of her control. Then Olivia discovered Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Instead of focusing on what wasn’t working, her sessions helped her shift her mindset. Together with her therapist, she explored what was going well—small wins she hadn’t noticed before. She began to feel lighter, more hopeful, and less consumed by anxiety. For the first time in a long time, Sophie felt resilient. Her journey wasn’t perfect, but she was learning to embrace it with renewed strength. She realised that focusing on positivity didn’t mean ignoring the challenges—it meant choosing to see the possibilities. If you’re on a similar journey, know this: hope and strength are within you. One small step at a time. #PositiveMindset #SolutionFocusedHypnotherapy #FertilityAwareness #TTCCommunity #FertilitySupport #ResilienceAndHope #MindBodyBalance

Stress is killing your fertility. 🚫 I've seen it firsthand: A bad lifestyle was stealing this joy away from me. Then I discovered the mind-body connection. Here's what changed everything: • Eating a whole and healthy diet • Yoga & movement for stress relief • Mindfulness meditation to gain balance • Reframing negative thoughts and healing traumas The result? A beautiful baby girl. Science backs this up: ↳ High stress = 29% longer to conceive ↳ Stress hormones disrupt ovulation ↳ Mindfulness programs DOUBLE pregnancy chances But nobody talks about this. Why? Because it's easier to pop pills and undergo invasive procedures. Your mind is powerful. Your body is listening. Don't let stress rob you of your dreams. Take control. Start today. P.S. Struggling with fertility? Schedule a call to learn how my coaching program can help you manage stress and boost your chances of conception. Spots are limited!

What is triggering your stress levels?? Stress can be positive to a certain extent but largely if not well managed can be detrimental The ability to cope with stress involves the thoughts and actions used to deal with the stressful situation. How are you coping with stress? Could it be that it is getting harder because you are; ❌ Avoiding it ❌ In a denial state ❌ Blaming yourself ❌ Venting well let me share the positive coping strategies that have and continue to help me with stress management; ✅ Optimistic outlook Optimism is a combination of faith and Hope that the situation will change! During my Infertility journey I had faith and Hope that I will become a mother one day. This really kept me going... ✅ Adjust Expectations The women navigating Infertility can agree with me on the monthly expectations of a positive pregnancy test! Adjust your expectations by embracing an open mindset that it may or may not happen! This helps a great deal. ✅ Take baby steps, one at a time! I know when most of us hear about the cost of fertility treatments we gradually pull out because they are truly costly. I took the first step by visiting the hospital to get checked and one step after the other the Journey progressed. Thank God it ended in praise. I pray the same for you🙏 ✅Communicate and Express yourself. I can't say this enough! Communicate your concerns otherwise you will continue to suffer in silence! I remember I had to Express my concerns regarding my health private as I would have wanted it to be to my boss and indeed I was granted the permission to always go for my treatments. ✅ Seek support and connect with others. This journey is to lonely to walk by yourself. seek guidance and counsel from friends, family, colleagues, church, professionals among others. ✅ Develop self Discipline/ Consistency These treatments can take a toll on you but follow through with your treatment as prescribed by th Doctors and also don't forget to Pray about it 🙏 Last but not least, ✅ Learn from your mistakes and success #TheSereneIntrovert🕊️ #Stress #PositiveCopingStrategies #Stressmanagement #InfertilityJourney Betty Ogiel ❤️

Serve & Return Brains are wired for connection. When we send something to our partner (serve) and it isn't responded to (returned) then our bodies actually produce stress hormones. Not feeling connected actually makes us go into a fight/flight/fawn/freeze response. Even small disconnections. Now add in the personal, relationship, and world stressors around fertility and having a challenging time getting pregnant. That miss is even bigger. The misses add up. The Serves are Returned less and less. Now you aren't just grieving the conception journey you'd envisioned or expected, but you're also grieving the loss of connection with your partner. The fix to this is simple: When your partner reaches out... Reach back. 💗 P.S. Need help to do this? I'm here to help. I'm actually holding a virtual workshop for couples on Saturday October 19 at 10am PST. Link in profile.
