As we celebrate Youth Day, it’s important to recognize that the role of young people extends far beyond symbolic gestures or token invitations to high-level discussions. Youth should not just be included at the start of initiatives; they must be empowered to participate fully in key decision-making processes. Too often, we see young people invited to the table simply to tick a box, without being given the space to truly contribute. In this digital era, youth are more than just participants—they are the creators and innovators driving progress. Equipped with digital skills and fresh perspectives, they are uniquely positioned to tackle the challenges of our time. However, it’s not enough to just provide training. Youth need intentional mentorship that goes beyond the classroom, guiding them as they navigate the complexities of leadership and social impact. This kind of support helps ensure that their potential is fully realized, and that they are prepared to take on the challenges they face. As we look to the future, let’s commit to more than just inviting youth to the table. Let’s ensure they have a real voice in shaping the policies and decisions that will impact their lives and communities. Together, we can create an environment where young people are not only heard but are also empowered to lead. #YouthDay #YouthEmpowerment #DigitalEra #MentorshipMatters #Leadership #MWF2024

In a world dominated by loneliness, how can we activate the youth to Pave the Way to the Future? Today I am speaking at Paving the Way - To the Pact of the Future for the United Nations, my theme is Meaningful youth engagement. First, very dangerous to invite me to speak in such an official event... But let's see what happens ahaha. I honestly believe that our youth is kind of lost. Lost because they are stuck at home living in an online world that doens't connect people as promised, but instead it's more like a window to other people lives, an edited window of fake perfection, causing wrong expectations about live and how it can be lived. Our your lacks belonging, lacks leadership skills and definitely lack a sense community. The good news is that we can change that. I was a member at AIESEC, a youth organization that changed my life by offering me the space to lead, to belong to something bigger in an international environment. Today I atribute a lot of my success to those short 2 years at AIESEC. Most of the new generation grow up in a hurry, protected by their parents, not really living but running from place to place, without time to think, to belong, to lead. We need more projects that empower our youth to become leaders. We need more AIESEC and others that are paving the way to future leaders. Without leadership, the future of the world will be defined by the old political leaders, by the outdated ideas, by the fear of everything new. Let's inspire our youth to lead. Starting today at Paving The Way, we need to be ready to build the future. Who is building the future in your opinion?

🌍 Empowering Youth for a Brighter Future 🌍 Reflecting on my time at the Model Youth United Nations event back in university, I’m reminded of the immense potential within young people to shape our world. Events like these showcase the power of youth voices, perspectives, and ideas to create real change—not just within our communities but globally. When young people are given a platform, the results are extraordinary. 🌟 They bring fresh ideas, bold solutions, and the drive to make a difference. Empowering youth isn’t just about personal growth; it’s about creating a ripple effect that benefits entire societies. If we can keep encouraging youth to dream bigger, speak louder, and engage deeply, our nations and our world will only continue to move forward. #YouthEmpowerment #Opportunity #ChangeMakers #GlobalFuture #Leadership
