The Best Employees Have an Agency Mindset: They Solve Problems Without Being Asked Naval Ravikant once said, "Hire people who solve problems without even being asked to solve them."This resonates deeply with me. The most impactful employees are those with an agency mindset—they take ownership, recognize opportunities, and proactively create solutions. They don’t wait for instructions because they see themselves as agents of change within the organization. These are the people who not only drive their own success but also elevate the entire team. Hiring for this mindset transforms a company from reactive to innovative. When you find these gems, you’re not just filling a role; you’re investing in the future of your business. #Hiring #Leadership #AgencyMindset #ProblemSolvers -

One of the biggest mistakes I see in leadership is not trusting the people you hire to get the job done. It’s something I feel very strongly about - and I absolutely 100% will NOT bring someone onto my team unless I believe they are fully capable of doing the job. →I do not lay awake at night wondering if things are getting done. →I do not dwell in the negative - thinking of what could go wrong. →And I also very certainly do not micromanage. And you know what happens as a result? I have a team who not only does their jobs - they do a GREAT job. So when you are hiring, give yourself a gut check before offering someone a job: Do I believe with 100% certainty this person is THE person for the job? If you can’t answer yes to that question - that isn’t your person. Keep looking. And if you can say yes: HIRE THAT PERSON! The best performance comes from employees who are empowered and given the opportunity to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Get out of the way and let them help your business grow! #leadership #founders #vacationrentals #hiring #hospitality

What's interesting about this concept, is that the organizations who understand this value, see great success in both the conduct of their business and employee retention. Data and statistics speak volumes about the success of these hiring initiatives.

My passion for people management is unwavering; it's one of the most intricate roles in any organization. ☄ My journey as a manager began at the young age of 20, and I've been honing my skills in this field for the past 26 years. Pursuing new job opportunities to avoid toxic leadership is a strategic decision. Toxic leaders often foster hostile work environments, resulting in diminished morale and productivity. By targeting roles within organizations known for their positive culture, one can significantly improve job satisfaction and career progression. However, it is necessary to conduct thorough research on potential employers to ensure alignment with your values and professional aspirations. Analyzing company reviews, employee testimonials, and leadership styles can offer valuable insights into the work environment. Although transitioning to a new role may present challenges, the long-term benefits of working under supportive leadership can outweigh the initial difficulties, leading to a healthier and more productive career trajectory. Have you considered making a similar move lately?

Are you aware of the impact a supportive boss can have on your career ? A boss who wants more for you , rather than just more from you, can be a key factor in your success. They're intrested in your development and work to create opportunities that benifit you personally and professionally . This kind of leadership can significantly enhance your job satisfaction and the patch your career takes.

This is the best early career advice I ever got. Tell me if this sounds familiar. You're in a super tough, stressful, and chaotic workplace. Senior executives and leadership NEVER address the structural issues at work, so everyone is always confused and doesn't get the mission. But yet, senior leadership STILL expects everyone to be firing on all cylinders with zero information and zero structures. And they keep having team meetings to "pick your brains" and see how junior staff can solve some of these issues. You feel uncomfortable about them not doing what a leader should but you convince yourself that if you keep trying. If you build new systems. Build a new communication matrix. That maybe things will change. Bae bae: nothing is going to change except your edges. Your leadership isn't doing their job. And have fabricated urgency through their shitty managent and uneven distribution of responsiblities. You're not going to change anything. What you will do is run yourself into the ground. And make you cynical and bitter. And fast track you to emotional disaster. Don't do this to yourself. You're not going to change anything. Share this with a colleague or friend who needs the reminder! #careergrowth #earlycareeradvice #toxicworkplace #workplaceburnout #careerelevation
