With Stanza, you can now prioritize application traffic based on what matters most to your business!
Simple examples include:
- Prioritizing paying-customer transactions over free accounts
- Processing payments before displaying ads
This is reminiscent of network Quality of Service (QoS) where an organization applies policies to prioritize bandwidth for critical business services over, for example, Facebook and YouTube. You can now use that concept for individual application calls between services.
In cloud-native and multi-tenant environments, you inherently have a vast web of interdependencies across internal and external services.
The ability to ensure that shared/contested resources prioritize your most critical transactions unlocks a new level of reliability for your applications.
Part 2 of our demo series is live! 💥 When traffic increases to the point of overload we want to protect the capacity of downstream services. Stanza’s Guard does just that - we protect the shared downstream service by throttling lower priority features in favor of servicing high priority features. Learn more below!
