After 3.5 incredible years as CEO-Digital Health for Aster DM Healthcare, I’ve made the decision to step down and pursue a new chapter in my Personal/Professional Journey. When I joined Aster the goal was clear: to drive digital innovation by building and scaling platforms to serve many many millions of people to access affordable quality healthcare and take even better care of their families. Don’t just build one area of healthcare…but the whole continuum of care (Hospitals, Clinics, Pharmacy, Home, Digital etc.). Do it fast, and foster new business that can add even more value to the people we serve. I’m grateful to say that the team did exactly that. It wasn’t me…but the incredible group of men and women that coalesced around these goals. Thanks team for the trust you placed in me when you said yes as I reached out to hire you, yes for moving into our business from other places, and yes through all the struggles of building something like this. Over the course of these years, we grew our digital businesses and became #1 Healthcare Platform in the region serving many millions (Don’t believe me? - get on the app/play store yourself and verify). A milestone that stands as a testament to the hard work, ingenuity, and collaboration of teams from literally all around the world. I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey. To the brilliant professionals I had the privilege to work with...thank you for your tireless efforts and unwavering belief in what we were building. Your dedication is what powered our success. I’m also deeply grateful to our partners who supported us every step of the way—your trust allowed us to push boundaries and make a lasting impact. If I had to post all the names and thank yous this would never end and become the largest post of all time 😉 . However let me at least thank Azad Moopen Dr and Alisha Moopen for the unique opportunity. My colleagues on the Executive Team who I worked with every week to move things in the right direction. And of course, most of all the Asterians both new and old that stepped up to the challenge. I now throw my full support behind the new CEO of Digital Health and the great team they have to take it to new heights. As I transition from this role, I’m excited about what’s to come. I’ve chosen to focus the next chapter on opportunities that align with scaling solutions that improve lives on a fundamental level. I’ll also be dedicating more time to civic, community, church and humanitarian efforts...causes that have long been close to my heart & hands. Stay Tuned.
