The agency embraced the idea of bringing the face to life and incorporating playful elements, as it helped to maintain the artist’s hand in the graphics, which helps to separate Tezza from feeling too “tech” as most photo and video editing apps have a cold, clinical feel. I also like the straight-up business cards, showing the old-school-ness of the logo, which may pass unnoticed given all the visual hoopla around it. Cultivated from an urban farm in the neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the company grows everything from phoenix Italian oyster mushrooms and shiitake to lion’s mane, dried mushrooms and much more. Full Pin offers a location-based delivery service to its customers or people can pick up their orders and convenient partner drop-off points. The company also offers special discovery boxes so clients can experiment with a variety of new flavours and they also offer gift cards.” • 🦸 FROM RETHINK “Inspired by their name – a Quebecois expression meaning ‘full speed’ – we transformed Full Pin’s identity to embody the boldness and bravado of a motorsports team. From a custom logo and set of icons that would look right at home on a pit crew, to sharp photography and race-ready merch. And with plans to break into supermarkets, we took Full Pin from a chef’s secret weapon to a champion on the shelf.” • 🧑💻 BRAND NEW’S REACTION The few applications shown are bold and engaging, continuing the racing aesthetic but I wonder if it will quickly turn into a gimmick that only works on a short run and whether the photography — which is fantastic — actually pairs well with it.
