Social this, social that... Is "social" the most misunderstood word in marketing? It's fascinating how social factors can have such a significant impact on customer decisions—even more than price. In his latest article, Hunter Thurman, President of Alpha-Diver, explores several of these social dynamics influencing our shopping habits: → Normative — decisions hindered by the pressure to conform to social norms → Punitive — decisions hindered by the fear of judgment from others → Imposition — decisions hindered by having to interact with others Understand how these might be affecting your own marketing by reading more here: https://bit.ly/46NzgK6 #Neuroscience #Neuromarketing #ConsumerBehavior

In a thought-provoking post, Todd Kirby discusses the fascinating intersection of neuroscience and advertising based on an article by Daley (2024) published in The Conversation. These insights highlight how our brains can experience mixed emotions simultaneously. This exploration has significant implications for the marketing industry, suggesting that understanding these emotional responses could enhance advertising effectiveness. Kirby invites further dialogue on how this research can be integrated into marketing and media strategies, urging professionals to consider the emotional complexities that influence consumer behavior. Whether it’s online reviews, star ratings, or viral trends, we’re constantly influenced by what others are doing. In my latest blog for Nerdoscientist, I explore the science behind social proof and how businesses can tap into this insight to design better consumer experiences. It’s all about understanding human behavior—and using that knowledge ethically to connect with people in meaningful ways. 📖 Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gKm87u8u What role has social proof played in your own decision-making? Only if we know how to create precise messages that "press play" on the engine of emotions in our interest can we influence and lead the audience to do exactly what we want. What is meant by emotion engine?! Has it ever happened to you that you couldn't understand what you were feeling? Are you frustrated or angry? Or maybe you felt sad and happy? It just proves that you are human 🙂 In the human emotion mechanism, emotions will always act simultaneously with other emotions and react to each other. At the same time - there will always be one emotion more dominant than the other that will affect us. Most people need to be made aware of the mixed emotions that arise in them; it is difficult for them to define what caused their feelings and what motivated them. The result is an impulsive, automatic response. The unconsciousness in each of us cannot be controlled when faced with the exact creative. As neuromarketing experts, we understand the buttons that drive emotions - we create targeted marketing that resonates in the right place. #emotion #neuromarketing #marketingexperts #crownsubliminalmarketing #neuroscience

The #Neuroscience of #ConsumerBehavior💡🧠 Have you ever wondered what happens in your brain when you decide to purchase something? It's a fireworks show consisting of your emotions, logic, and experiences. However, according to neuroscience, more such decisions are driven by emotion, so a better understanding of the links between emotion and consumer behavior could transform how we approach marketing and sales strategies. Emotional triggers open the door to more engaging, action-oriented marketing campaigns. So the next time you're crafting your sales pitch, remember: It's not just about the product. It's about the story and emotions that your audience attributes to it. #NeuroMarketing #PurchaseDecisions #EmotionalTriggers

Did you know? 85% of consumer decisions happen subconsciously! So, how do you reach those hidden parts of the brain that make people choose your brand? This is where neuroscience comes in! Neuroscience is basically the study of how our brains work, and marketers are using this knowledge to create more effective campaigns. Here's how: - Reading Your Mind (Sort Of): By studying brain activity, marketers can see what kind of marketing grabs attention and triggers positive emotions. - Making Your Website Magnetic: Our brains are wired to focus on certain things. Neuroscience helps design websites and social media posts that naturally draw people in and keep them engaged. - Building Lasting Memories: Ever get a song stuck in your head from a commercial? Neuroscience can help create those powerful memories that make people remember your brand long after they see your ad. #neuromarketing #marketing #neurofeedback #brain #health
