What makes your brand hard to buy? In his latest article, Hunter Thurman explores the physical barriers that potential customers face when making a purchase: Price—is it worth the cost? Time—what am I giving up if I choose this? Social—how will others perceive my choice? Physical—will this negatively affect me, physically? Emotional—will I be disappointed by this choice? People don’t buy products. They buy solutions to their problems. They buy experiences, emotions, and a sense of belonging. It’s not just about what your product does, But why it exists and how it can make someone’s life better. I remember working with a client who was struggling to break through the noise in a crowded market. Their product was solid, But their approach was purely transactional. I told them to take a step back and think about the bigger picture. What’s the story behind this product? Why should anyone care? We crafted a narrative that centered around the problem their product solved, tied it into their personal journey, and made it relatable. Suddenly, they weren’t just another brand, they were a brand with a purpose, with a story that people wanted to be part of. And that made all the difference. The truth is, in today’s world, people are bombarded with choices. They can buy a similar product from a dozen other companies. But when you sell your story, when you show them how your product is part of something bigger, something that aligns with their values. They’ll choose you. Not just because of what you sell, but because of why you sell it.

The world is full of people who aren’t your customers … yet. Sustained and dramatic growth in a company means being willing to think past your existing customer based, and finding ways of making new customers. If you want to grow, you can’t pigeonhole yourself. You should seek out that “white space” where new and unmet needs lie. The trick is finding the white space where your brand makes sense, so you never forget what your brands stands for.

Do you know the number one mistake brands make when selling their products? They make their customers work too hard to understand what they're offering. Think about it, if every time we talk about our product, people have to run for 5 minutes just to get it, how long do you think they'll stick around? Not for very long, right? When someone visits our website and it's too hard for them to understand what we're offering without burning a bunch of calories, they'll just leave. It doesn't matter how great our product or service is if we don't explain it simply enough for people to get it. So, keep your message simple and watch your brand's performance improve. Take care!

Here’s the truth: People don’t buy products—they buy stories. You can have the best features, the flashiest packaging, and the most competitive price, but if there’s no story behind what you’re selling, you’re just noise in a crowded market. Think about it. When was the last time you bought something because of a list of specs? Chances are, it was the brand’s story that pulled you in. People connect with the why behind what you do. They connect with the journey, the mission, the purpose your product represents. It’s not just about solving a problem—it’s about creating an emotional connection. That’s what makes people choose your brand over someone else’s. A great story turns a simple product into something people care about. It gives your brand life. So, stop focusing on the features and start focusing on the story. Because at the end of the day, that’s what makes people buy— And more importantly, that’s what makes them believe.

So what???? You have a product or service. To really win and scale, your brand needs to connect emotionally with your customers. When they feel something for your brand, they’ll stick around, buy more, and even spread the word. Think about the brands you love. Your regular vendor that comes through for you—they get you, right? They don’t just sell you stuff—they make you feel seen and valued. That emotional bond? It keeps customers loyal and coming back for more. And all it takes to build that loyalty is to be authentic. People can tell when you’re not being real. Stick to your values, be honest, and show up consistently. Authenticity builds trust, and trust builds loyalty. Loyalty isn’t about offering discounts or promotions. It’s about creating a connection that lasts. When customers feel like your brand understands them, they’ll keep coming back.

A wise man once said: if you have no competitive advantages against the other competitors, then you've got to love your customers. what great advice then how to "love your customers"? Well, just make it easier for them to communicate with your brand! as simple!! in this dominating world, there are omni-channels. you should have a channel for each customer's preferences. what I'm sure of that calls are not the only way to communicate in this crazy fast-paced century.

5 reasons why people don’t buy from your brand. *Note: These are the only 5 possible reasons why someone doesn’t buy something from a brand* 1️⃣: No money. If it feels like it’s gonna break the bank, chances are they’re gonna walk away. So price your products accordingly. 2️⃣: No time. We’re all racing against the clock these days and if your product demands more time than they’re willing to give, they won’t buy. 3️⃣: No need. If your product isn’t solving a problem they have, they won’t buy. 4️⃣: No urgency. If they think, ‘Eh, I can get this later,’ well, ‘later’ often turns into ‘never.’ and that’s why they don’t buy. 5️⃣: No trust and this is a big one. If they do not trust your product or brand, they’re not gonna take that leap.
