Virtualized lists require a special component with a bunch of JavaScript to make it work, right? Guess again … `content-visibility` has been available in Chrome from Chrome 85 onwards, and as of now is “Baseline Newly available”!

Fun news! Last month, the `content-visibility` CSS property landed in all major browser engines, making it Baseline Newly available. `content-visibility` can be used to defer the rendering of offscreen elements before they arrive in the viewport—which could represent a significant win in terms of reducing main thread work during the initial page load, and could help when optimizing your website's Interaction to Next Paint (INP).
