We celebrate National education day every year, but are we providing the education our children deserve? The path ahead is still long! As I walked through our school corridors today, I couldn't help but think about Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's powerful words: "Education is the key that unlocks the golden door of freedom." 1947 marked the beginning of India's educational journey In 2008, our commitment to education received formal recognition because of 1 man - Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of India after India’s independence. Just like Azad sir, who established UGC and AICTE and laid the foundation of modern Indian education, we have a responsibility to shape tomorrow's leaders. Here’s what we need to focus on, as educators, parents, and leaders who care deeply concerned about our children’s future: 📍Transform, don't conform: Education must be more than just textbooks. Each school day should be a journey, one where children feel free to question, explore, and innovate. We need to ask ourselves—are we creating the spaces where this can truly happen? 📍Build bridges, not barriers: Just as Azad sir brought technical education to India, we must now bridge the gap between what is taught and what is needed for tomorrow. Together, as a community, we need to reimagine what learning looks like in a world that’s changing so fast. Are we preparing our children for their future—or are we training them for our past? 📍Empower through example: In our schools, we're moving from instructive to inspirational classrooms because that's what Azad sir envisioned – education that liberates. We must embody the values we want to pass on, and that means empowering children not just with information, but with courage and curiosity. These goals are not just about one school or one city—they’re a call to anyone involved in shaping young minds. Remember: Every time we step into a classroom, we're not just teaching—we're carrying forward a legacy of educational transformation that began with our first Education Minister. As an edupreneur leading 4 schools, I see this responsibility not as a burden but as an opportunity to create lasting change. What role will you play in shaping India's educational future? #NationalEducationDay #EducationalLeadership #FutureOfEducation

#BeyondSchool An immense learning gap exists among children, especially those we work with. Nearly 80% of these children face significant challenges in foundational learning, and many programs and organizations rightly focus on addressing these needs. However, we've observed that a group of academically thriving students—the top 15-20% in all municipal school classrooms—are not receiving enough opportunities to excel further. There is immense potential here, and we aim to create a long-term pathway that provides these exceptional students with everything they need to enter the top 1% of colleges, universities & research institutions. Here is where we come in. We are proud to introduce Panaah Young Scholars! After conducting three pilots, and running the program with forty children we at Panaah Communities, are now launching a full-scale program with academically driven children. Through the Panaah Young Scholars Programme, we visit municipal schools near our centers, explain our program, engage with parents, and convince all stakeholders to support these children's development. By providing tailored academic support, we help these students excel in olympiads, competitive exams, and scholarship tests, paving the way for them to dream big and enter prestigious universities & institutions, securing a brighter future. We are asking ourselves the critical question: What will it take for us to enable children from the most high-need communities to excel in olympiads globally, creating a pathway for them to enter India's top universities and research institutions? 1/3 #PanaahCommunities #PanaahYoungScholars #PYS
