Ever turn lemons into a 3-day party? That’s exactly what I did! I started my master’s program out of boredom. The lockdown in Italy had restricted movement, and my travel plans were shattered. A friend suggested enrolling in university. Why not? It kept me busy. Two semesters in, I hadn’t even met a classmate in person. Everything was virtual. This was tough for someone who thrives on social interaction. But I pushed through. When I finally graduated, it felt HUGE. I turned lemons into lemonade and made it to the finish line. My planned dinner with friends turned into a 3-day celebration. We partied because it mattered. Here’s the thing: Celebrating your wins, even the small ones, matters. But so many of us skip it. We brush them off and move on to the next challenge. Why does this hurt you? You miss the chance to refuel your motivation. You lose perspective on how far you've come. You rob yourself of joy in the process. But you DESERVE to celebrate. Even when the achievement feels small, it’s a step forward. Every win, no matter the size, builds your confidence. So here’s the solution: Next time you reach a goal, pause. Celebrate it. Whether it’s a toast with friends or simply taking a moment to reflect. Make space for your achievements. You’ve earned it!
