The U.S. Navy and #MQ25 unmanned carrier-based refueler team has successfully simulated the groundbreaking Joint Precision Approach Landing System (JPALS). Developed and tested by PMA-213, NAWCAD-WOLF, and Boeing software teams, JPALS provides accurate “hands-off” navigation and guidance, a critical capability for the Navy’s first unmanned carrier-based refueler.
Does the Ai get dinged if it doesn't hit the 1-wire? 😊
Testament to the vision of Glenn Colby and his team at PMA-213 who led the early JPALS research
Congratulations! I recently simulated hitting a walk-off homer to take the World Series. Happy days, am I right?
Just imagine what you could do with a jet like this….
Looks way too advanced & expensive to be just a tanker. 😁
Blue Equator is committed to providing precise inertial navigation simulation, testing, and calibration platforms, contributing to the advancement and application of drone technology. We believe that with continuous technological progress, future naval operations will be more efficient and secure. We look forward to collaborating with various parties to promote technological innovation and achieve win-win cooperation.
Amazing journey...I remember UCLASS Industry Day at NAVAIR back in 2008....then we did JPALS with PMA-213 & now MQ-25 joins the CAG with JPALS......congratulations to the entire user community on deploying this fighter pilot preferred landing capability!
Keep growing! Extremely impressed and excited about the growth in this project.
This is indeed great progress. What has always worried me is what would happen in the aftermath of a large EMP attack. And we also don't know how often earth striking large solar flares occur. The only reference for that is the flare that destroyed the only technology then in existence, the telegraph systems just before the Civil War. That continuously happens but so far as we know has only hit the earth once.

3wThrilled to see JPALS incorporated as the precision approach platform for #MQ25 - great collaboration with NAWCAD and PMA-213!
