Assets, I'm very honored and I'm very proud that to welcome a fabulous partner on stage, a fabulous customer on stage, a very good friend on stage as well. So Bob, Bob full Strala, EVP and CEO of Northern Europe, Bob. So really big thanks for you being on stage here, Bob. Maybe let's start with a little bit of an introduction from your side, of course. And first of all, it's so great to see you again, Angelique, and I want to thank you for having me. And it's it's really a great conference. So congratulations on that. So, yeah, so I've been with Salesforce now for 15 years and like you said, I'm leading the Northern European organization that Salesforce. For those of you who are maybe a little bit less familiar with Salesforce, we're the world's leading AI powered CRM platform that really enables organizations to transform and to accelerate growth by using tools that integrate sales with service with marketing and data-driven insights. At the heart of our innovation is what we call the agentic layer, which I think is really redefining enterprise software by embedding AI powered agents into every product and that's helping our customers to be more. Efficient Angelique to be more scalable and also to access unlimited workforces yeah very excited we will talk about a definitely now Salesforce is also work day user and customer right so how do you do use work day via Slack or do you go into the app? I actually use both use the work day a lot from within Slack and I proof offers and approve PTO requests etc from within within Slack and then to do more advanced things I go into work there as well Yeah that's great and we use. Sales force as well, right within work day and to be honest, I also use work day fire slack, so very good. And this is this is really super, super exciting, right? So two companies born in the cloud Salesforce, the first one born in the cloud. I think work day we looked at how how Salesforce started and did that. So incredible visionaries. So tell us a little bit about your thoughts about how the companies are joining forces. Yeah, I think this, this partnership that we've announced is really bringing the best of Salesforce and Work Day together. The way that I think about it Angelique is for AI to have any meaningful impact, it needs to be really founded with data that is trusted and unified. And that's exactly what is so powerful about this collaboration. It, it brings together the industry-leading customer and CRM data of Salesforce with the unmatched HR and financial data of of Work Day. And that's. Their foundation is going to help make sure that insights are really actionable and that decisions are being made in the precise way. If you think about the potential of the like the employee service agent, we're not just talking about automating processes. We're really talking about transforming the employee experience. Imagine, for example, the onboarding journey where from day one, new hires will have access to, you know, personalized resources and task checklists, even being introduced to mentors. For example, and all that from within familiar tools such as, such as Slack. So that means at the end of the day that employees are spending less time navigating systems and more time doing meaningful work. But I think what's even more transformative is this is really the industry's first common data foundation where we integrate customer data with financial data and employee data seamlessly. So I do think this is a game changer and but maybe you want to share a little bit more details about the partnership. Absolutely. It's I'm very excited about it. Like like you said, from a Salesforce perspective, you have the data about sales servers, Work day brings in the data about HR, the people and the money. Work day joins the Salesforce 0 copy partner network, which means that you don't that we together don't duplicate the data, right. And then thinking about the potential of that agent to agent conversation, for example. AI employee agent in the services space, right? Somebody is working natively in the Salesforce platform and they look for information, for example, about onboarding information or document or learning information. And they, they will be able to access that type of information from work day in their Salesforce environment. So it's super, super exciting. So if we think out loud, Bob, right? So for companies, what type of problems are we solving? Yeah, I, I do think we're solving some of the most pressing problems that organizations are facing these days. And I would put them in four key areas. The first one is employee engagement. Automating repetitive tasks means that employees will be able to do more high impact meaningful work that's going to increase productivity and job satisfaction for sure. And then we just spoke a minute ago about the onboarding right from day one, having those tailored resources and workflows integrated within, within Slack for example. But then also. Recruiting unified data is going to give us intelligent recommendations that are going to help identify, you know, the the best candidates faster and help us with better decision making when it comes to recruiting. And then finally, the organizational performance integrating data is going to help us give more actionable insights. That's going to help us with strategic workforce planning, for example, and financial forecasting. So, yeah, so I really think this partnership is about meeting the employees where they are. And I think it's it, it's going to really redefine what's possible. Yeah, absolutely. It will make everybody's life easier, right. So and around the AI agents just to zoom in about what do you think will be, will be that groundbreaking difference for all of us? Yeah. And I'm going to choose my words carefully. But I do think this is a quantum leap this unified data and process and workflows bring brought into a seamless experience. But then powered by advanced large language models, it's going to make sure that agents go well beyond answering questions. They go into creating actions for us. And, and so for example, think about workload management where agents are going to help assign employees based on their skills and the availability coming from the work day data of course, or knowledge sharing where agents are going to help identify who are the best experts for certain task and then connecting that employee. To that expert or a career development where agents know what your skill gaps are they track that and then recommend you tailor training for example and suggesting mentors within the organization that's for sure going to drive a lot of career growth for for people. And then of course the employee service where from enquiries from from HR to PTO requests, agents are going to deliver instant contextual responses to you from within Slack or e-mail or web chat so. That's going to reduce case volumes and help the resolution times. The way that I think about it, Angelique, is these agents, what they really set apart is the ability to anticipate your needs, to act proactively. It's going to bring personalized impactful employee experience to our employees. So I do think it's setting a new benchmark for productivity and an environment. Yeah, I'm very excited about that. Right. And we talked about the access to the data coming from the. Those first platform, the seals, the servers combined it with HR and financial data. So it's exciting times, right, very exciting. So now thank you so much for sharing this incredible insights. I'm super excited by his strengthening the power of Salesforce and work day. Workday makes it official and acquires Evisort. Not a big surprise to those who have seen the joint selling and Workday’s native gaps in contract and document parsing.
This is a good acquisition for Workday strategically in supporting the finance office, but the real questions are how Workday integrates Evisort’s intelligence capabilities and takes advantage of this new source of AI logic. Workday wants to be a CFO solution and still has a massive opportunity in that space, but still struggles to go to market outside of HR from a messaging and positioning perspective.
This is a renewed opportunity for Workday to commit to the CFO office, be the process and document intelligence center for that functional area, and be the trusted AI partner in this department that has long struggled with the simultaneous challenges of supporting the potential productivity of AI with the trust issues where finance is not allowed to be wrong or misleading.
Great job for the Evisort team on its execution. Now, the torch has been passed and the real business challenge of seeing who will be the document AI champion in the enterprise starts in earnest.
